We collect information for the purpose of being able to add value to your life and give you resources by sharing updates and information related to Genny Heikka and/or HerTeamSuccess via an email list. Your information may be shared with a third party provider who meets data protection standards for the purpose of communicating to the email list (i.e. MailChimp, GoDaddy).

If you upload images, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
This site has contact forms that allow you to contact the site owner via email for general contact purposes or to book a speaking request. Your information is not added to any list from these contact forms. There is also a “subscribe” button and “free resources” button where users can enter their email information and be added to the email list described above under “subscribe”.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. If you opt in to email updates via this site’s subscription contact form, and if you click on the double opt-in link in the confirmation email, your information will be added to this site’s subscriber list hosted at MailChimp used for periodic email updates from this sites’s owner.
How we protect your data
Measures have been taken to protect your data, such as two factor authentication and an SSL certificate for this site. In addition, our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities. We also use regular malware scanning.
Information Regarding Plugins
Beaver Builder: In terms of GDPR, Beaver Builder products do not collect any personal information from your users.
Askimet: Collects information about visitors who comment on Sites that use our Akismet anti-spam service, but comments are closed on this site. The information we collect depends on how the User sets up Akismet for the Site, but typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).
Smush: The only input option Smush has is to a newsletter subscription for site admins only. Smush sends images to the WPMU DEV servers to optimize them for web use. This includes the transfer of EXIF data. The EXIF data will either be stripped or returned as it is. It is not stored on the WPMU DEV servers.
Smush uses a third-party email service (Drip) to send informational emails to the site administrator. The administrator’s email address is sent to Drip and a cookie is set by the service. Only administrator information is collected by Drip.
